Starting today, October 1, Romanians of Washington, DC invites the community to submit nominations for the 2024 Community Awards. Members of our community will have until Sunday, November 10 to nominate outstanding individuals and organizations using the form linked below.
Established in November 2020 by our Board of Directors, the Romanians of DC Community Awards annually recognize those who have made a significant impact on the Romanian-American community in the greater Washington, DC area. These awards celebrate the often unrecognized efforts of individuals and organizations who contribute to the vitality of our community. By shining a light on their dedication, we hope to inspire even greater participation and foster a stronger, more connected community. The winners of the 2024 Awards will be selected by the Board of Directors and announced in early December. Up to three honorees from our community will be recognized.
To nominate a deserving individual or organization, please fill out the form below. Keep in mind that while nominations are open to all, priority will be given to those nominations made by and for members of the Romanian-American community in the greater Washington, DC / DMV area.
