Visionary Artistic Director Paata Tsikurishvili brings this classic back to the stage of the Synetic Theater between September 12 and October 2. Based on a Georgian epic poem and featuring in the leading role the Romanian-American actor Dan Istrate, “Host & Guest” tells the ancient story of a family who takes in a lost stranger to discover he is from an enemy clan, and their valiant attempt to save him when their village wreaks vengeance. Performed around the world, “Host & Guest” is a timely and relevant tale of war, strife, the beliefs that tear us apart, and the humanity that brings us together.
On Sunday, September 25 there will be an after-show Talk-Back with the cast and crew and on Friday, September 30 between 7:00 and 8:00pm there will be a Pre-Show Happy Hour.
